Flexiti uses Mitek Systems, Inc. (“Mitek”) to verify your identity online. Mitek compares a selfie with the photo on your government-issued ID and checks that the ID is genuine.
Biometric data
Mitek creates biometric data from your selfie and ID photo to perform the comparison. That biometric data is not shared with Flexiti and is deleted by Mitek within 90 days.
Images and results
The images of your ID and selfie, and the result of the check, are shared with Flexiti and handled under our Privacy Policy. Mitek deletes its copies of the images within 7 days.
If you’d rather not
You don’t have to verify online. An alternative method is available: call Customer Service at 1-877-259-3745.
